[Girona – 11 April 2026] — Factor Bikes today announces a special edition MONZA featuring the unmistakable VEXX graphic design, set to be raced at the 2026 edition of Paris–Roubaix, cycling’s most demanding one-day Classic, by Factor-sponsored teams, Human Powered Health and Modern Adventure Pro Cycling.
MONZA exemplifies its racing pedigree in a refined, streamlined design. It delivers true elite performance in a package optimised to withstand the roughest conditions. Engineered for high-speed efficiency, the MONZA offers WorldTour handling, aerodynamics, and stiffness levels combined with an innate durability. For Paris–Roubaix, where surface unpredictability presents the ultimate challenge for all equipment, the MONZA’s finely balanced carbon lay-up delivers the stiffness required for power transfer alongside the control and composure essential across cobbled sectors.
When we were given the option by Factor to use the MONZA, it was clear for our riders when doing the recons, that the MONZA was the fastest bike across the cobbles. Having some experience with the cobbles of Roubaix myself, I can confirm that the compliance of the MONZA in the right areas combined with its stiffness and aerodynamics give even me a completely new experience of what the cobbles of Roubaix feel like.Magnus Backstedt, directeur sportif for Human Powered Health
This Roubaix-ready execution pairs that race-focused engineering with a striking visual collaboration from Belgian artist VEXX.
Born in 1998, VEXX has become globally recognised for his intricate, highly expressive doodle-driven visual language. What began as childhood sketching, filling pages with layered characters and spontaneous ideas, has evolved into a signature style defined by energy, density, and controlled chaos. His work transforms simple linework into immersive compositions, blending playfulness with precision.
As a Belgian, VEXX grew up surrounded by cycling’s deep cultural roots. Watching the Spring Classics and the Tour de France as a child left a lasting impression. That early connection to the sport’s drama and mythology now informs this collaboration, linking his artistic language to one of cycling’s most iconic races.
I have been thinking about designing a bike ever since I worked on my design for cars. Bikes have always seemed the biggest challenge because there is not much room. It’s all 3D shapes and dynamic situations, so it’s not at all like drawing in your sketch book or on a canvas. As a kid I remember watching these races like the Tour de France and the Ronde van Flanders. I know the racers are going so fast, but I know it will stand out. To see professional cyclists using a bike with my design in the race will be amazing.VEXX
The VEXX graphic turns the MONZA into a moving expression of that intensity. Bold contrasts, flowing forms, and layered detail mirror the frenzy and rhythm of the cobbles, where speed, endurance, and luck intersect.
I think this is really interesting because pro cycling, and indeed pro sport in general, doesn’t often have art involved. That is what is so interesting about this collab. We are bringing a bit of art into the sports world. Often with professional sport, the very nature of it, creativity frequently disappears. Looking at VEXX’s journey as an artist resonates well with our engineering ethos, where an iterative process forms the building blocks for everything we design.David Millar, Factor Chief Brand Officer
With its race-proven geometry, aerodynamic efficiency, and finely tuned ride characteristics, the MONZA is designed to perform at the highest level of the sport. At Paris–Roubaix, where equipment, design, and resilience are pushed to their limits, it will be tested in the harshest conditions cycling has to offer.
The Factor MONZA VEXX edition will make its race debut at Paris–Roubaix, ridden in the women’s race by Lily Williams and Maggie Coles-Lyster on the WorldTour team Human Powered Health, and in the men’s race by Robin Carpenter and Ben Oliver for UCI ProTeam Modern Adventure Pro Cycling.
