Factor Bikes is a high-performance bicycle manufacturer and engineering-first brand, building the fastest UCI-legal racing bikes in the world. Founded by former WorldTour rider and carbon-engineering pioneer Rob Gitelis, Factor designs, prototypes, and manufactures its frames in-house, enabling unmatched speed of innovation and uncompromising control over performance.
Our Origins & Philosophy
Factor traces its roots back to BF1 Systems, a motorsport and aerospace engineering skunk-works that developed some of the fastest race-car technologies on the planet. When Factor was born, it brought that same engineering DNA to bikes. From day one, every Factor product has been shaped by CFD simulation, wind-tunnel testing, and pro-level race validation. Our philosophy is simple but bold: Engineer, Design, Evolve. Never Status Quo.

Our Performance Component Arm
Black Inc is Factor’s purpose-built component workshop, a high-performance wheel and component manufacturer delivering some of the most aerodynamically advanced and structurally precise systems in cycling. All design, CFD, FEA analysis, prototyping, and testing are done in-house for complete control from concept to race deployment. Black Inc develops wheels, cockpits, gravel and track components engineered to integrate seamlessly with Factor frames, delivering class-leading aerodynamic efficiency, stiffness-to-weight ratios, and rider-first integration with real-world race validation.
