Factor announce special edition OSTRO Gravel in partnership with Team Amani

14 March 2023: Factor Bikes, the premium performance bicycle brand, unveil a Team Amani limited edition of their aerodynamic racing gravel bike, the OSTRO Gravel.

Designed in collaboration with riders, The OSTRO Gravel Team Amani includes an eye-catching ‘cheetah fork’, and stylishly incorporates the Team Amani colours. Inscribed on the top tube is ‘Captain, Friend, Brother’ - a tribute to Sule Kangangi who sadly lost his life following a crash whilst racing last summer.

Factor has pledged 10% of all OSTRO Gravel Team Amani proceeds to the team’s gofundme campaign. The Campaign was set up earlier this year to create a permanent home for the team in the Rift Valley, Kenya which is known as ‘the Home of Champions’.

Sitting at 2300m, Iten - a town in the Rift Valley - develops incredible cardiovascular capacities. Producing a countless number of world-class runners such as double World Champion Abel Kirui, Amani strive to provide ‘The Home of [Cycling] Champions’.

Sule’s dream was to build a permanent, world-class cycling facility to provide the younger generations of his home region the opportunity he never had. The facility will offer aspiring talent access to equipment, training and a platform/chance to develop into top class bike riders.
